Pre-Boarding Notification (PBN)
A Pre-Boarding Notification (PBN) is a mandatory customs requirement for goods entering or leaving the Republic of Ireland by road. It must be submitted before vehicles board the ferry covering movements between Ireland and Great Britain, as well as ferry routes between Ireland and other EU countries.
